COL BKB: Wyoming 68, UNLV 66

LARAMIE, Wyo., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Francisco Cruz and Leonard Washington each provided 16 points for Wyoming Saturday in the Cowboys' 68-66 upset of No. 13 Nevada-Las Vegas.

Wyoming corralled its fourth win in six games with the help of Luke Martinez, who netted 15 points, and Adam Waddell, who chipped in 14.

UNLV (21-4, 5-2) fell to the underdogs thanks mainly to poor long-range shooting -- the Rebels hit just 3-of-14 shots from beyond the arc.

Quintrell Thomas scored 15 points, while Oscar Bellfield and Anthony Marshall each added 12 in UNLV's setback.

Mike Moser provided 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Rebels.
