COL BKB: Michigan 68, Indiana 56

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Trey Burke boosted Michigan to a strong start Wednesday and the No. 22 Wolverines fought off 20th-ranked Indiana 68-56.

The Hoosiers scored only two points over the first 6 minutes and fell behind by 13, but climbed back within two early in the second half.

Michigan's lead was still just two points with 3:20 to go before Michigan went on an 11-4 run that put the game away.

Burke scored 18 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. and Zack Novak both had 13 for the Wolverines (17-6, 7-3 Big Ten Conference). Michigan has won all 13 of its home games this season.

Jordan Hulls led Indiana (17-6, 5-6) with 18 points. The Hoosiers have lost five of their last seven contests.

Burke made two of Michigan's nine 3-pointers and the Wolverines turned the ball over just five times.
