COL BKB: Duke 74, Maryland 61

COLLEGE PARK, Md., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Mason Plumlee paced No. 6 Duke on a late surge with 23 points and 12 rebounds Wednesday, lifting the Blue Devils past Maryland 74-61.

Maryland inched a point in front with just under 6 minutes gone in the second half but the Blue Devils took control with an 11-1 run.

Duke bounced back from a dramatic home loss to Florida State Saturday to win for the fifth time in six games.

Ryan Kelly had 14 points and Austin Rivers chipped in 10 for Duke (17-3, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference). The Blue Devils maintained a share of the conference lead with Florida State.

Terrell Stoglin scored 16 to lead Maryland (12-7, 2-3), which has lost three straight.
