COL BKB: Minnesota 77, Indiana 74

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Two free throws each by Joe Coleman and Austin Hollins in the last 28 seconds Thursday gave Minnesota a stunning 77-74 win over No. 8 Indiana.

The Hoosiers had ridden wins over Kentucky and Ohio State to a spot in the Top 10, but fell to the Golden Gophers despite making 25-of-28 from the foul line.

Coleman's two free throws with 28 seconds left gave Minnesota a three-point lead and Hollins hit two more with 15 seconds to go, giving the Gophers another three-point cushion.

Christian Watford then missed a 3-point attempt for the Hoosiers.

Hollins scored 18 points to lead Minnesota (13-5, 1-4 Big Ten Conference). Rodney Williams scored 14 and Julian Welch had 10.

The Hoosiers were paced by 23 points from Cody Zeller. Indiana (15-2, 3-2) hit only 4-of-18 attempts from 3-point range.

The Hoosiers' only other loss of the season came Dec. 28 against Michigan State.
