COL BKB: Marquette 61, Wisconsin 54

MADISON, Wis., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Darius Johnson-Odom's 17 points Saturday helped No. 16 Marquette snap seventh-ranked Wisconsin's long home winning streak with a 61-54 victory.

Freshman Todd Mayo came up with 14 points for the Golden Eagles (7-0), who ended the Badgers' home-court streak at 23 consecutive wins.

Marquette outrebounded their in-state rivals 44-32 and held the Badgers to just 32 percent shooting from the field in continuing its best start since the 2006-07 season.

Wisconsin (6-2), meanwhile, lost its second straight as star guard Jordan Taylor was held to 13 points and turned the ball over five times.
