Kate Upton, Blake Griffin get cozy in NYC

If Blake Griffin is concerned about his future with the Clippers, he certainly wasn't showing it.

The NBA forward was spotted out in New York City holding the hand of none other than Sports Illustrated covergirl Kate Upton at the Lower East Side hotspot Beauty & Essex Wednesday night.

Griffin, 24, met a group of friends that included teammate DeAndre Jordan, who may also be departing Los Angeles soon. Upton joined the boys an hour later for a dinner that included empanadas, tacos and tequila shots.

A source says Griffin and Upton "were cuddling and holding hands, although they were not seen making out."

"They seemed pretty cute together," the source added, saying the whole group seemed to be having "a great time."

After dinner, the group headed to Avenue nightclub in Chelsea, where another source said "they closed the place down!"

Perhaps we'll be seeing Kate court-side at the Staples Center this fall.
