May 23 (UPI) -- After missing the cut in the 2019 PGA Championship, Tiger Woods has entered next week's Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.

Woods is a five-time winner of Jack Nicklaus' tournament. He last won the competition in 2012.

Woods shot scores of 72-73 at PGA. The two rounds at Bethpage Black are the only competitive golf rounds he's played since winning the Masters on April 14.

"There's no reason why I can't get back up to speed again and crank it back up," Woods said after missing the cut, according to ESPN. "I've got to start feeling a little bit better first before that happens."

Woods skipped the Wells Fargo Championship earlier this month. He is expected to participate in June's U.S. Open.

Woods has eight top-10 finishes at the Memorial. He finished tied for 23rd last year.
