Brooks Koepka leaves $500 tip for haircut before 2019 PGA Championship

May 15 (UPI) -- Golfer Brooks Koepka dropped a very hefty tip for a New York barber ahead of the 2019 PGA Championship.

The No. 3 golfer in the world gave Geraldo "Q Styles" Quinones of Krispy Kutz $1,000 in cash for his efforts on Tuesday.

Quinones made a house call to the golfer for the haircut. The haircut had a cost of $500, while Koepka also left a $500 tip.

Quinones posted a photo of himself with Koepka after the cut, tagging the post in Plainview, N.Y.

"Just finish cutting up the golf master of the U.S. Open, Brooks Koepka," Quinones wrote. "Humble great guy."

Quinones also posted an Instagram story, showing himself holding 10 $100 bills in his hand.

"Thanks Brooks Koepka for the tip," he wrote.

"Thanks bro," Koepka wrote on his story. "See you again."

Quinones has also given haircuts to NBA stars including Serge Ibaka and George Hill, rapper Waka Flocka, New York Giants stars Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard, and other celebrities.

Koepka is the defending champion of the PGA Championship. He is set to tee off with Tiger Woods and Francesco Molinari on the 10th tee at 8:24 a.m. Thursday at the Bethpage Black Course in Old Bethpage, N.Y.
