Wrestler Triple H shows off brutal injury

Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Veteran wrestler Triple H showed off his recent injury with a bruise-ridden Instagram post.

Paul "Triple H" Levesque suffered the arm/chest injury at WWE Crow Jewel on Friday at King Saud Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Brock Lesnar became the Universal Champion at the event, which was hosted by Hulk Hogan.

Triple H teamed up with best friend Shawn Michaels to re-form D-Generation X to take on The Brothers of Destruction, The Undertaker and Kane.

Kane later took Triple H out with a Choke Slam into the announcer's table. Triple H was only able to use one arm after the injury, but did return. Michaels held off his foes until Triple H's return, helping D-Generation X win the match.

"Surgery in the AM," Triple H wrote for the caption on a social media post of himself and his bruised body‪. "Makes you stronger."

Sources told the WWE that Triple H, 49, has a torn pectoral muscle. He had surgery on Tuesday in the United States.
