June 1 (UPI) -- Floyd Mayweather congratulated his son for getting his diploma, while remembering when he dropping out of high school before his boxing career.
"Money" took to social media Thursday to post photos with his son Koraun. The 18-year-old held up his diploma from West Ranch High School for the pictures. West Ranch High School is located in Santa Clarita, Calif., north east of Los Angeles.
"I'm so proud of my son @kingkoraun for doing something that I didn't do, and that's graduate high school," Mayweather wrote on social media. "When I was his age, I dropped out of school and followed my dream of boxing to take my family out of poverty!"
Mayweather has since earned more than a $1 billion in the boxing ring and owns a career record of 50-0.
He had his first professional fight on Oct. 11, 1996 at 19-years-old. He attended Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Mayweather also has a 17-year-old son named Zion. The boxer's lavish lifestyle has trickled down to Zion and Koraun. In 2017, Mayweather threw a big 16th birthday bash for Zion, which featured a performance from Young Thug. He gifted Zion a Mercedes C-class couple. Koraun also received the same model of Mercedes for his 16th birthday.
Koraun also dropped a music video Wednesday, called Rack$.
