The Atlanta Hawks will not match the New York Knicks' four-year, $71 million offer sheet to restricted free agent guard Tim Hardaway Jr., league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Saturday.

The Hawks had 48 hours to match the offer with a deadline of 11 p.m. ET Saturday. They plan to notify the NBA and Knicks later Saturday, according to ESPN.

The Knicks drafted Hardaway with the 24th pick in 2013. The 25-year-old shooting guard played his first two seasons with the Knicks before being traded on draft day in 2015 to Atlanta.

Hardaway is coming off the most productive season of his four-year career, averaging 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 27.3 minutes over 79 games (30 starts) in 2016-17. He shot 45.5 percent from the field.
