The Winnipeg Jets agreed to terms with defenseman Ben Chiarot on a two-year contract Saturday with an average annual value of $1.4 million.
Chiarot, 26, played in 59 games with the Jets this past season and established a career-high 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) before suffering a season-ending upper body injury on March 19 against the Minnesota Wild.
