June 11 (UPI) -- Jamaican track star Usain Bolt won his final 100-meter race in his home country on Saturday night.
Bolt clocked a time of 10.03. He arrived at the track in a black Range Rover.
The eight-time Olympic gold medalist competed in the JN Racers Grand Prix at Kingston's National Stadium. His world record in the 100 is 9.58.
After the race, he bent down and kissed the track, before doing his signature pose.
The stadium was illuminated with fireworks and fanfare after the event. Bolt also celebrated and danced with the excited fans. The race was booked as a "Salute to a Legend," in honor of Bolt.

He will also competed on June 28 in the Czech Republic. Bolt told NBC Sports in May that he "envisions his career ending" at the World Championships in London.
Bolt will compete in the 100-meter final on Aug. 5 and the 4x100 meter relay on Aug. 12.
"I started getting a little bit emotional," Bolt told NBC Sports. "Knowing that it could be your last big race in front of so much crowd, that's something I know I'm going to miss when I retire."
Bolt, 30, recently ranked No. 23 on Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid athletes. He brought in $34.2 million this year, with $32 million of that coming from endorsements.
