NASCAR: Austin Dillon gets car makeover

April 21 (UPI) -- Bristol Motor Speedway will be the stage for another first Sunday when driver Austin Dillon debuts his New Era No. 3 Chevrolet at the Food City 500.

The company known for its hats and apparel is the primary sponsor of his Richard Childress Racing car for the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

It will be the first time New Era, an official NASCAR partner, has sponsored and wrapped a car.

Dillon will start up his Chevrolet at 2 p.m. Sunday under the green flag.

Jimmie Johnson won the last Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series race on April 9 at the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500.

Dillon placed fifth in the April 2 2017 STP 500 for his best finish so far this season. The best finish of his career came on May 1, when Dillon placed third in the 2016 Geico 500. His best career finish at Bristol is fourth place.
