March 7 (UPI) -- Super sports apparel brand Nike is marketing the Nike Pro Hijab.

The new head cover garment is a single layered pullover made of lightweight polyester. It is set to come in dark, neutral colors and feature tiny holes for breathability.

Nike, which has a current slogan of: "If we can be equals in sport, we can be equals anywhere," debuted its "What will they say about you?" campaign last month. That campaign featured a commercial for Arab women competing in various sports. The advertisement begins with a woman peaking out into an alley in the Middle East before covering up with her hijab.

The sports apparel behemoth began constructing the hijabs after hearing complaints from Muslim athletes about wearing the headscarves during competition, according to CNN Money.

The final prototype was revealed Tuesday, according to Vogue Arabia. A Nike swoosh appears prominently above the ear on the left side of the Nike Pro Hijab. The design has a long back to help it from coming untucked during athletic activities.

The Nike Pro Hijab took 13 months to design and will be available for purchase in the spring of 2018.
