EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants return specialist Dwayne Harris sustained a toe injury in the third quarter Monday and was ruled out of the rest of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Harris dealt with a toe injury a couple of weeks ago but hadn't missed a game. It was unclear if the latest ailment was related to that injury or if it is a new issue.

Prior to his exit, Harris was having a quiet night, returning one punt for 8 yards and two kickoffs for 37 yards.

Bobby Rainey replaced Harris as the punt return specialist.
