Cleveland Browns center Cameron Erving and Dallas Cowboys defensive end David Irving were ejected early in Sunday's game after they scuffled on a third-down passing play.

The two players fought after Browns quarterback Cody Kessler threw an incomplete pass from the Dallas 13-yard line with 12:44 left in the first quarter.

Erving and Irving were tangled and on the ground as officials tried to separate them. It appeared that Erving grabbed Irving's helmet and then threw it at him.

Both were penalized and then referee Jeff Triplette ejected the players.
