Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan expressed optimism that ailing running back LeSean McCoy and newly signed Percy Harvin will be in the lineup for Monday night's game at the Seattle Seahawks.

McCoy sat out last week's loss to the New England Patriots and rushed for only 11 yards on eight carries against Miami in Week 7 while battling a hamstring injury.

Prior to the injury, McCoy carried Buffalo's offense by rushing for 470 yards and five touchdowns during a four-game winning streak.

McCoy, who has rushed for 598 yards and six scores on the season, practiced on a limited basis all week and is listed as questionable. Ryan told reporters Saturday that he is "confident" McCoy will play.

Harvin, meanwhile, ended his retirement and signed with the Bills on Tuesday. The oft-injured Harvin has not played since Oct. 11, 2015, before going on the shelf.

"I feel good about Percy. I didn't say we'll play him 50 snaps, but I will play him," Ryan said. "I think we can play him some, I do. He looks good out there.

It will be a homecoming of sorts for Harvin, who played five games with the Seahawks in 2014 and one game with them the previous season.

A first-round pick out of the University of Florida in 2009, Harvin had his best season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2011, hauling in 87 receptions for 967 yards and six touchdowns.
