Philadelphia Eagles' Josh Huff arrested on firearm, marijuana charges

Philadelphia Eagles receiver Josh Huff was arrested early Tuesday morning for speeding while in possession of marijuana and a gun during a traffic stop, according to multiple reports.

Huff was stopped for speeding on the New Jersey portion of the Walt Whitman Bridge. The Camden County Prosecutor's office is investigating the incident.

It wasn't immediately known if Huff has a gun permit.

"We are aware of the incident today involving Josh Huff," the Eagles said in a statement. "At this point, we are gathering more information."

Huff has caught 13 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown this season in his third NFL campaign. The 25-year-old had 27 receptions for 312 yards in 2015.
