The Philadelphia 76ers exercised the fourth-year contract options on center Joel Embiid and guard Nik Stauskas on Sunday, as well as the third-year option on forward Jahlil Okafor.

The Sixers selected the 7-foot, 250-pound Embiid with the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He missed the first two seasons recovering from two foot surgeries. Embiid, 22, has averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in two games this season.

Okafor was selected by the 76ers with the third overall pick in the 2015 draft. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, after averaging 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds on 51 percent shooting from the field in 30 minutes per game. The 6-11, 275-pound Okafor, 20, was selected to participate in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend in Toronto.
