Green leads the NFL in receiving yards (775) and has three touchdown receptions in 2016, including a brilliant one on a Hail Mary pass against Cleveland on Sunday.
Norman has been playing hurt much of the year. He needed a shot in his right wrist to finish a game against Baltimore on Oct. 9. On Sunday, he slammed his head to the turf on a long pass play to Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones and left the game for good with 10:13 left in the third quarter.
The problem, of course, is the Redskins don't really have a full week to see if team doctors and an independent neurologist, as required by the NFL, can clear Norman. The team leaves for London on Thursday night to play the Bengals.
"He'll have to see the doctor again [Tuesday] and take the necessary steps," Washington coach Jay Gruden said. "And hopefully Thursday will be the last time he sees him. We'll have to get an answer before, obviously. We leave Thursday night. Usually, Thursday is the time we see him anyway. Hopefully by then we'll have a good answer."
