Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer cleared to play

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has been cleared to exit the NFL's concussion protocol and is expected to play in Monday's contest against the New York Jets.

The Cardinals announced Tuesday that both Palmer and linebacker Kevin Minter had cleared the protocol. Both players are expected to practice on Wednesday.

Palmer suffered his concussion on Oct. 2 against the Los Angeles Rams. He sat out last Thursday's victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Drew Stanton filled in for Palmer against the 49ers.

Palmer has passed for 1,150 yards and six touchdowns against five interceptions this season.
