Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz and cornerback Leodis McKelvin were ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ertz and McKelvin also sat out last week's win against the Chicago Bears with injuries they suffered in the season-opening win over the Cleveland Browns.

Ertz, who had 75 catches for 853 yards and two touchdowns last season, suffered a rib displacement near his left shoulder and McKelvin injured his left hamstring.

Coach Doug Pederson said Friday he expects the two players to be back after the team's Week 4 bye.

Rookie cornerback Jalen Mills will get an increased workload once again and Trey Burton will be featured at tight end, Pederson said.

Pederson also ruled offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo, who continues to recover from a mid-August pectoral strain.

Linebacker Mychal Kendricks is expected to play Sunday. He has been dealing with a broken nose and strained quadriceps.
