Robby Gordon's dad, one other, found dead

The father of former NASCAR driver Robby Gordon and his father's wife have been found dead at a home in Southern California.

The bodies of 68-year-old Robert Gordon and 57-year-old Sharon Gordon were discovered by a neighbor on Wednesday in a home in Orange owned by Robby Gordon. Sharon Gordon is not the birth mother of Robby Gordon.

Police haven't released a cause of death but did reveal they found a weapon at the scene of the house in Orange County.

Robert Gordon is a former off-road race known as "Baja Bob."

Robby Gordon, 47, is scheduled to run a race at an event in nearby Costa Mesa this weekend. He started the Indianapolis 500 on 10 occasions, competed in the NASCAR circuit for over 20 years and also participated in off-road racing events.
