Los Angeles Lakers sign Julian Jacobs, Travis Wear

The Los Angeles Lakers signed guard Julian Jacobs and forward Travis Wear. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Jacobs averaged 11.6 points, 5.4 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game for Southern Cal in 2015-16, but was not selected after declaring for the NBA Draft after his junior season.

Wear appeared in 51 games with one start for the New York Knicks last season, averaging 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. The Long Beach, Calif. native played collegiately for North Carolina (2009-10) and UCLA (2011-14).
