Inbee Park of South Korea moved up to No. 4 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings released Monday after winning the gold medal at the Rio Olympics.

Park shot a final-round 66 on Saturday to pull away early when world No. 1 Lydia Ko of New Zealand struggled.

Ko rallied to take the silver, making a 7-footer for birdie on the last hole to edge ahead of China's Shanshan Feng, who got the bronze.

"This is definitely one of the special moments in my golfing career and whole life,'' the 28-year-old Park said after the Olympics win. "It feels great. Obviously representing your country, winning the gold, it's so special. It's just really all I've wanted. I'm just happy.''

Ko remains comfortably on top of the rankings with an average of 15.1504 points, well ahead of Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn (8.1077).

Canadian Brooke Henderson (8.0050) is third, followed by Park and American Lexi Thompson (7.7467), who dropped one spot.
