Atlanta Falcons sign K Shayne Graham, S Sergio Brown

The Atlanta Falcons signed kicker Shayne Graham and safety Sergio Brown on Saturday.

Graham was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints as a college free agent following the 2000 draft out of Virginia Tech. He has spent time with 10 different teams, including his latest stop with the Falcons last season. Graham made the Pro Bowl in 2005 when he played for the Cincinnati Bengals. Last season, he played in five games for Atlanta and went 11 of 13 on field goals, while making all of his extra-point attempts.

Brown was originally signed by the New England Patriots following the 2010 draft out of Notre Dame. He saw action in 26 games with the Patriots, before being signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 where he spent two years, recording 39 total tackles in 45 games. Brown's last stop was in Jacksonville where he played in 15 games for the Jaguars last season, recording 29 total tackles.

The Falcons also waived kicker Nick Rose, who had signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Texas.
