Josh Tomlin expected to rejoin Cleveland Indians Friday

CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Indians right-hander Josh Tomlin is expected to rejoin the team on Friday and is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tomlin was placed on the Family Emergency List on Wednesday and returned to his home in Tyler, Texas.

The 31-year-old Tomlin owns an 11-6 mark with a 4.14 ERA this season, but has struggled mightily of late. He has allowed 17 earned runs on 24 hits in 16 1/3 innings en route to losing his last three starts.
