An arsenal of expressions while performing gymnastics earned her that nickname. But there is definitely more to the 16-year-old than tumbling and leaping.

Fans watched that first hand Tuesday when Hernandez gave a wink to the judges before performing her floor routine.

Before performing her beam routine in front of the whole world and helping teammates Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, and Simone Biles win the women's gymnastics team final, Hernandez stoically whispered to herself: "I got this."
