Former Pro Bowl tight end Kellen Winslow II is working out with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in an attempt to revive his career.

Winslow, 33, hasn't played since 2013 when he caught 31 passes in 12 games for the New York Jets. He missed the other four games due to a suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Winslow tweeted out the following: "Just wanna thank the @packers for this opportunity. #Packers"

Winslow is the son of Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow, who played for the San Diego Chargers and is considered one of the top tight ends in NFL history.

The younger Winslow was the sixth overall selection in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns after a standout college career at Miami.

His NFL career didn't start well as he suffered a broken right leg during his rookie season. In the offseason, Winslow tore the ACL in his right knee when he was involved in a motorcycle accident and he missed the entire 2005 campaign.

Winslow rebounded to catch more than 80 passes in each of the following two campaigns, including his Pro Bowl season of 2007 when he had 82 receptions for a career-best 1,106 yards.

Following the 2008 season, the Browns traded him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played three seasons with Tampa Bay, catching a minimum of 66 passes in each campaign.

Winslow was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 and waived prior to the start of the season. He later played one game for the New England Patriots that season before hooking on with the Jets in 2013.

Winslow has 469 receptions for 5,236 yards and 25 touchdowns in 105 career NFL games.
