Minnesota Vikings sign OT Sean Hickey, LB Jason Whittingham

The Minnesota Vikings signed offensive tackle Sean Hickey and rookie linebacker Jason Whittingham to contracts on Wednesday.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed by the team, which has filled all but one spot on its 90-man offseason roster.

Hickey spent parts of last season with New Orleans and New England before signing with the New York Jets in January. The former Syracuse star and Pennsylvania native was released by the Jets in May.

Whittingham recorded 26 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks in 13 games last season for Utah. The undrafted free agent had a tryout with Oakland but was not signed.
