Oakland Raiders, CB David Amerson agree to four-year extension

The Oakland Raiders and cornerback David Amerson have agreed to a four-year contract extension, according to reports.

Amerson's deal includes $17.5 million in guaranteed money and $38 million in total value, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported.

Amerson, 24, was claimed off waivers from the Washington Redskins early in the 2015 season. The former second-round draft pick had four interceptions -- returning one for a touchdown -- and 53 tackles in 14 games with the Raiders last season. He has six interceptions and two forced fumbles in his 47-game career.
