Chicago Bulls sign G Denzel Valentine to deal

The Chicago Bulls signed guard Denzel Valentine to a contract on Saturday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Valentine, who was the 14th overall selection of the 2016 draft.

Valentine earned Big Ten Player of the Year honors after averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 31 games last season for Michigan State.

Valentine averaged 11.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists while playing in 144 of a possible 148 games during his four-year stint with the Spartans.
