Veteran point guard Jarrett Jack will play for the eighth different team of his career after agreeing to terms on a one-year contract with the Atlanta Hawks, according to multiple reports.

Jack, who will be playing for the league minimum, averaged 12.8 points and 7.4 assists in 32 games with Brooklyn before a torn ACL ended his season in 2015-16.

The 32-year-old is expected to provide depth at the position after Atlanta traded Jeff Teague to Indiana before the draft.

Jack is returning to the Peach State after helping Georgia Tech advance to the NCAA title game in 2004.

The 22nd overall pick of the 2005 draft, Jack has averaged 11.1 points and 4.5 assists in 803 career games with Portland, Indiana, Toronto, New Orleans, Golden State, Cleveland and Brooklyn.
