In eight NBA seasons, the 29-year-old Hibbert has career averages of 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots.

Hibbert spent his first seven NBA seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

Charlotte also added backup guard Ramon Sessions, who reportedly received a two-year, $12.5 million deal.

Sessions has played with seven different teams and averaged 9.9 points last season for the Washington Wizards.
