Former Detroit Lions CB Stanley Wilson shot during naked break-in

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson was shot and hospitalized and authorities allege he was naked when trying to break into a home in Portland, Oregon.

The Oregonian said police claim Wilson was trying to break into a window in the back of a multi-million dollar home in Multhonah County when the homeowner shot Wilson, 33, and caused non-fatal injuries requiring hospitalization.

Wilson last played in the NFL in 2008.

The incident took place Wednesday but Steve Alexander, the sheriff's captain on duty, said details are not being made available regarding the circumstances of the case.

Wilson was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary and first-degree trespassing.

Wilson was a third-round pick in the 2005 draft out of Stanford.
