Firestone 600 to be completed on Aug. 27

The Firestone 600 that was suspended due to weather issues will be completed on Aug. 27, IndyCar announced Friday.

The race was stopped after 71 laps on June 12 due to heavy rain at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. There are 177 laps remaining.

James Hinchcliffe was in the lead when the race was suspended.

Conor Daly and Josef Newgarden won't be allowed to participate after they were involved in a crash on Lap 42.
