College World Series: Ryan Cumberland lifts UC Santa Barbara

Pinch hitter Ryan Cumberland's two-run single snapped a tie to highlight a four-run sixth inning as UC Santa Barbara posted a 5-3 victory over Miami (Fla.) in a College World Series elimination game on Monday in Omaha, Neb.

Billy Fredrick and Ryan Clark provided insurance with back-to-back run-scoring bunts for the Gauchos (43-19-1), who will face the loser of Monday's game between Arizona and Oklahoma State.

Noah Davis allowed one run on two hits and struck out three in six innings for UC Santa Barbara.

J.J. Muno and Devon Gradford added two hits apiece for the Gauchos.

Zack Collins belted a homer and drove in two runs for the third-ranked Hurricanes (50-14), who were eliminated after dropping both of their contests in the College World Series.
