Higuain scored again in the 28th minute and Argentina led 2-0 at halftime.

Messi found the net for his tournament-best fourth goal in the 60th minute. The goal was his 54th for Argentina and matched Gabriel Batistuta's national record.

Argentina countered a minute later when Messi set up Erik Lamela for the final goal.
