Foster, who turns 30 in August, rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown in four games last season. He has 6,472 career rushing yards and 54 touchdowns.

According to a Pro Football Talk source with knowledge of the situation, Foster expects to pass a physical within the next few weeks.

Foster's recent visit to Fenway Park in Boston sparked discussion on social media about whether there was any connection to the New England Patriots.

According to ESPN.com, Foster did not meet with the Patriots on his recent visit.
