The Chicago Cubs signed six-time All-Star reliever Joe Nathan on Tuesday and placed him on the 60-day disabled list.
The 41-year-old Nathan underwent Tommy John elbow surgery in April, 2015 and hasn't pitched since. There is no timetable set for the right-hander's return.
