Seattle ace Felix Hernandez was scratched from Friday night's start against the Los Angeles Angels due to the flu, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
Hernandez will be replaced by Hisashi Iwakuma, who was slated to start Saturday's game.

Hernandez is tied with Randy Johnson for the franchise lead in career strikeouts with 2,162. The right-hander's next victory will be this 145th and that will match Jamie Moyer's club record.
Hernandez is 1-1 with a 1.00 ERA in three starts this season. Iwakuma hasn't been as successful, going 0-2 with 4.50 ERA in three outings.
