Miami Heat sign F Dorell Wright

The Miami Heat signed forward Dorell Wright, the club announced Tuesday.

The Heat didn't release terms, including length of the contract.

Wright spent the season in China and averaged 24.3 points and 7.5 rebounds in 37 games. He topped 40 points on four occasions.

Wright, 30, has averaged 8.4 points in 549 career NBA games. He was the 19th overall selection by the Heat in 2004 draft and was a member of Miami's 2006 NBA championship squad.

Wright has also played for the Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers.
