Two minor leaguers suspended for drug violations

Minor league players Felix Rutledge and Cameron Smith have received 50-game suspensions without pay for violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Rutledge is a left-handed pitcher in the Baltimore Orioles' organization. He was suspended after a second positive test for a drug of abuse.

Smith is a left-handed pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization. He was penalized for violating the program.
