Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been medically cleared for all basketball activities and will begin serving his four-game suspension, the team announced Sunday. The team-imposed suspension will begin with Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers said Griffin will return to action on Sunday, April 3 against the Washington Wizards.

Griffin has missed the last 41 games with a partially torn left quad tendon and right hand fracture.
The suspension is for a Jan. 23 incident in which Griffin broke his hand while punching equipment manager Matias Testi during an argument at a Toronto restaurant.
Griffin was suspended for four games by the team and also docked five games' pay of $859,442 for the altercation.
Griffin, a five-time All-Star, is averaging 23.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 30 games this season.
On Saturday, Griffin participated in his first practice since December and looked "phenomenal," according to Clippers head coach Doc Rivers.
"Listen, we're still in survival mode until Blake comes back," Rivers said Saturday. "I just think as it's gone on, it's gotten harder and harder, because it takes a lot of energy to win games."
