Pittsburgh Steelers sign LB Steven Johnson

The Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to terms with linebacker and special teamer Steven Johnson on a one-year contract Friday.

Johnson is entering his fifth NFL season, spending three seasons with the Denver Broncos (2012-14) and one season with the Tennessee Titans (2015).

Johnson's career numbers include 57 games played with seven starts during the regular season. He has played in five postseason games with one start.

Johnson, who turns 28 on Monday, has played primarily on special teams, where he has recorded 34 tackles, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble during the regular season. He played in all 16 games last season for the Titans, recording seven defensive tackles and recovering two fumbles.
