Johnny Manziel's new agent said Monday there are teams interested in the troubled quarterback.

Speaking to the Dallas Morning News, Drew Rosenhaus said "there are teams interested" but that Dallas was not one of them.

"I'm not talking much about him at this point publicly," Rosenhaus said when asked which teams actually might be inquiring about Manziel. "I'm really just here talking to teams privately.

"You know, a lot of his life and career is public, so from the business side, we're going to try and keep that more behind the scenes," Rosenhaus said.

Rosenhaus declined to discuss, even in broad terms, what he's telling teams about his Manziel's status or how he's doing.

"I'm not really going to get into all of this stuff," Rosenhaus said. "I appreciate you asking."

The Cleveland Browns released Manziel earlier this month after two mostly unproductive years with the franchise.

Manziel's off-the-field difficulties continued during the offseason when Dallas police referred a February domestic violence case involving Manziel to a grand jury, which will convene in April. He faces possible criminal charges in the case.

The NFL is also investigating Manziel and could suspend him for his off-the-field behavior.
