Center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury of the New York Yankees left Saturday's exhibition game against the Atlanta Braves after being hit by a pitch on the right wrist, but the Yankees reported later that X-rays and a CT scan came back negative.

The 32-year-old Ellsbury couldn't get out of the way fastball thrown by Julio Tehran of the Braves in the fifth inning of the Yankees' 3-2 victory at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla.
