Left tackle Donald Penn signed a one-year deal to return to the Oakland Raiders in 2016.

Penn, 32, will pair with free-agent signee Kelechi Osemele to give the Raiders a strong front five. Osemele can play guard and tackle and signed a five-year, $58.5 million contract on the first day of free agency. He started at left tackle in December 2015 for the Baltimore Ravens with Eugene Monroe injured but was primarily a guard before that.

Penn is the second-lightest player on the projected starting offensive line at 305 pounds behind center Rodney Hudson (6-2, 291). Osemele (6-5, 333) and fellow guard Gabe Jackson (6-3, 336) are massive, as is right tackle Austin Howard (6-7, 333).

Signed by the Raiders as a free agent in 2014, Penn entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Buccaneers. His current streak of 140 consecutive starts is the third-longest among offensive tackles in the NFL.
