The Arizona Cardinals reportedly signed former Kansas City Chiefs safety Tyvon Branch to a two-year, $10 million deal on Wednesday.

Branch started just one game for the Chiefs last season, but had one interception return and one fumble return for touchdowns. He played in all 16 regular-season games plus both in the playoffs after having played in just five games over the previous two seasons with Oakland because of injuries.

He has five career interceptions and nine career sacks.

Rashad Johnson is an unrestricted free agent and Tony Jefferson is a restricted free agent, creating a need at the safety position.
